B Skincare ~ Ethos Our aim is to make a natural good quality product, offering customers first class service, whilst being aware of the environment we all live in.
The Creams - In practice this means being aware of what goes into the creams and not using parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, fragrances or lanolin. We list all our ingredients and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about them. The creams are handmade each week, so you will not get something that has been sitting on a shelf for ages. Handmade means a real person measures, pours, lids and labels the creams.
We are always looking to improve the creams by sourcing even better ingredients but this does not mean that they will stop being affordable. We would never test our products on animals and work to the standard that all our raw materials have a fixed animal testing cut off date of 1996.
Our Customers - Our customers are really important to us. We are a small family business so you will know who you are speaking to and won’t be put on hold or have call menus to work through. We aim to send out all orders either on the day of order or the next day. If there is not someone to answer your telephone enquiry immediately we aim to get back to you within 24 hours. We like speaking to our customers, so if you ever have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to ring or email and we will do our best to answer them.
Packaging - We keep packaging to a minimum. Both our glass and plastic jars can be recycled. We use either biodegradable packing chips (from a local business just up the road) or reuse ones that have been sent to us. All our boxes which we send out are recycled from local businesses which we collect them from. Wherever possible we use local business to keep our carbon foot print down.
We comply fully with EU regulations, which, means that all our recipes are safety assessed & certified by a qualified pharmacist. We are proud to be members of the Made in Cornwall scheme, run by Cornwall County Council Trading Standards department to provide support to genuinely Cornish craft based businesses.
